Cockpit Arts / NAFDAS David Bell Memorial Award

I am incredibly honoured to have been awarded the Cockpit Arts / NAFDAS David Bell Memorial Award. The specifications for the award was a craftsman who is deeply inspired by music. I couldn't believe my luck when I found this on Twitter.

I will be starting working at Cockpit Arts this Summer and I can't wait to bring in my lathe and meet all the incredible, inspiring designers and craftsmen that were exhibiting this weekend at their Open Studio event, in conjunction with London Craft Week.

Drawing Sound

I have started listening to music and drawing into the clay. I draw the expressions of the sound, the volumes and the pace.
