The brilliant people of Instagram invited me to participate in their Christmas Instagiftmarket.
The event consisted of an educational day where the participants enjoyed a presentation outlining the ways Instagram can be utilised within small businesses.
The following day each business became a Spitalfield's stall holder, which was great fun if rather chilly!
One of my most rewarding jobs to date has been designing, making and directing the installation of this Mirror Tree at Shambala Festival 2017.
To work on this scale was a fantastic experience as well as the joy of seeing the tree come to life and being enjoyed and celebrated during the festival.
I am experimenting with making bag handles out of the offcuts from my walnut horns.
Absolutely fell in love with this shop in Brooklyn. Mociun, you have style like no other. Ombré shelves shall be in my life in the future!
I had such a fantastic time exhibiting at Clerkenwell this year. It was so much fun (if pretty damp/eery in the dungeon!) It was a joy to meet all the visitors as well as my fellow exhibitors
Love this image from the professional photography team at CDW. Thank you for this shot of my stand.
Now off to New York for a boost of creative inspiration!
These past couple of weeks I have been busy designing and making my stand for Clerkenwell Design Week 2017. It is my favourite design event of the calendar as it is in a part of London that I absolutely love. I am honoured to be exhibiting in the historic and slightly spooky House of Detention. Please come and visit me over the course of the week, from the 23rd-25th May.
With this historic sight I've had the added challenge of not being able to secure anything to the walls, but I'm really pleased with the end result. Also please check out Fuzl who I am exhibiting next to, to see his ingenious metal clips for quick-build flatpack furniture.
The lovely Phoebe Oldrey of Smartstyle Interiors just sent me over this image from her blog for Habitat, of the painting she commissioned me to do. I did a pair for either side of the bed and I'm so pleased with the result.
This is one of my favourite snaps ever! Of my friend Clare and I when we came to the end of oiling the final Walnut horn for the Paul Smith order. Thank you so much for your help Clare!
Walnut horn stacks are so pleasing to look at! Making these horns up for a commission for Paul Smith. See Resound No.1 in stores soon!
Interior inspiration from Hem. In love with the Max Lamb stools
Possibly my favourite piece from the Resound Lighting collection, I love the way the light shows off the Walnut.
I am showing the Resound collection at this year's London Design Fair. Open from 22nd - 25th of September at Old Truman Brewery.
Happy with the way my display table worked out, I loved building it.
